Dr Grant McNaughton-Smith was invited to present a Plenary lecture at the IV Early Career Investigators’ Congress on Bio-Organic Research (Univeristy of La Laguna, June 5th 2026)

Title: Discovery and development of selective human and bacterial agonists of Caseinolytic Protease P (ClpP), as potential anticancer and antibacterial drugs.

The presentation described the on-going research by the CLIP-CAN consortium to design and develop new potent and selective agonists for the human Caseinolytic Protease P protein, as potential anticancer agents.
